Corbyn Elise Hilton-Hamilton is the daughter of world famous fashion designer Camryn Hilton-Hamilton and artist Benjamin Hamilton and she was born destined for stardom. Because she grew up around the fashion industry and was always dressed in designer clothes from the time she was very young, she developed a passion for it. She began modeling as a child, first for her mom's clothing then for a couple of catalogs here and there. At just fourteen years old she was signed with Ford models and by seventeen she was well on her way to becoming a supermodel. Her parents were both weary of letting her get involved too deep with the fashion industry, but they vowed to let their only little girl follow her dream and they weren't going to get in her way. Camryn chaperoned her while she was modeling, especially when she had to travel the world. Ultimately though it was Corbyn's decision to take a step back and focus on school. Though she loved modeling and the fashion industry and it had always been her choice, she had another goal in mind, going to college and getting a degree in Psychology. She wanted to be an addiction counselor. It was never hidden from Corbyn that her mom had once been a coke addict, and her mom's best friend, who was also a big part of Corbyn's life had a drug addiction problem too. Not to mention the fact that Corbyn witnessed the effect of both alcohol addiction and drug addiction on models she worked with. She wanted to help. The shallow girl who was concerned with being popular, also had a heart of gold.
Like most of the things in her life, grades came easily. Even with her modeling gigs she kept her GPA flawless in high school. During the school year it was rare for her to book a shoot that was out of the area where she was living. She did take the occasional one, but when she did she focussed on getting things in order for school before she left. She was also an active member in the high school social scene: a cheerleader, and class president both her junior, and senior year. She was accepted her senior year to Stanford University's Psychology program which was a dream come true, and she wouldn't have to leave California, the state she'd been born and raised in. But it wasn't as easy in college to balance the model lifestyle and her work. Her GPA began to slip and after her Freshman year she was on academic probation. She was left with a hard decision but it was obvious where her heart lied. Modeling wasn't a career she would have forever and she knew that it was something she wouldn't always be happy with. Sure, she could make a difference as a spokeswoman, but it wouldn't be the same. She got out of her contract with Ford models and began focussing on school again. Next fall, she'll be starting her Junior year.
With all of that it's almost surprising that Corbyn had time for a personal life in high school but she did. With the exception of Junior year though she didn't keep a steady boyfriend, but despite a reputation because she often dressed sexy, Corbyn was not a slut and she didn't put out, other than giving the occasional boyfriend a bit of oral sex. She'd vowed not to lose her virginity to just anyone. There was no use slutting around town. Her parents were proof that there was something good out there. She'd find it eventually and she wasn't rushing it. It was also Junior year that she realized she had feelings for her best friend, Brody Torres. Brody was the son of her mom's two best friends and Corbyn had known him since she was in diapers. They went through a lot together, and though they publicly hated each other, their bond was different when they were left alone. They weren't sure where to go from there and the entire year was rocky. Since Brody was a year older than Corbyn he'd be out of high school before she started her senior year anyway. He was also the opposite of her, the rebel always causing trouble, who didn't care how he did in school or how he appeared to anyone, well at least that's the appearance he gave off. Finally though, after a rocky year of deciding whether or not they were friends with benefits or actually dating, they decided that they were better off as friends. It hurt Corbyn a lot, and she likes to think that it hurt Brody too but with her plans for college, they weren't sure they could make it work anyway.
It finally got to the point though where they couldn't take it anymore. There was no way they'd ever be out of each other's lives completely and whenever they found each other at the weekly dinner between their parents, they ended up sneaking off to be together. It was during Corbyn's first summer home from college that she lost her virginity to Brody. For a long time they were stuck on what to define themselves as. They wanted to be together and in all honesty, they were, for a very long time. They just didn't show it in public. Though their moms joked about how wonderful it would be for their kids to be together, Corbyn's dad especially would never have it. Part of her thinks that it that shouldn't matter to her, that if she felt so strongly about Brody she should have just been with him publicly, but it does matter, to both of them, and they've chose to keep up the charade until last year. They hated each other in public, but when they were alone, they were a completely different couple.
Over a year ago Corbyn moved back to Santa Monica and soon after that she found out she was pregnant. Though the baby is Brody's, the two are no longer together. She now lives with her boyfriend of over a year, Austin, in a penthouse in the Escape building of Seven Shores and her daughter, well, their daughter, Emilie who is now six months old. Corbyn's plan changed a little from her psychology when she discovered that she really couldn't stand to not be connected to the fashion industry in some way. She's currently finishing up her last semester at UCLA and balancing it with taking care of Emilie. In December she's hoping to graduate with her degree in Public Relations and do some stuff for her mom's clothing line. |
